On 16th & 17th May, CORE partners Universita' di Salerno and PSCE (Public Safety Communication Europe) attended the CERIS European Forum for Risk Governance and Societal Resilience in Toulouse to represent CORE.
The first day of the event focused on the broader theme of ‘Societal Resilience’, with four main topics addressed in the format of panel discussions. Raffaella Russo, from the Unicersity of Salerno intervened under the topic ‘Return of Experiences and R&D Feedback’, presenting the experiences of one of CORE’s project use cases, the flood in the Aude River in France.
During the first day agenda, CORE had also the opportunity to pitch key features of the project as part of the Societal Resilience Cluster stand along its sister projects; the demonstration held during lunchtime, allowed interested audiences to learn more about the different projects.
The event concluded with the second day focusing on ‘Improved Disaster Risk Management and Governance’ where panel discussions alternated exhibitions stands. Participation to the event provided CORE with the opportunity to introduce the project to a broader audience of end-users, practitioners, private sector, and decision-makers.
